What is your cancellation policy?
If you need cancel or reschedule 24 hours or more before your appointment start time, there will be no charge. Cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment time will incur a fee of $75. If you cancel within 4 hours of your scheduled time you will be charged the full session fee.
What if I think I’m getting sick?
Please notify me as soon as possible if you suspect you may be getting sick so that we can reschedule your appointment. Your well-being is of utmost importance to me, as well as to the clients I serve. There is no fee for same day cancellation if you are sick.
How much time should I allot for my massage?
First time clients should plan for an extra 15 minutes before we begin their scheduled massage. This gives us time to discuss goals and any relevant medical history. Repeat clients typically only need to anticipate about five minutes on either end for set up and breakdown. If you would like to have additional time before your session to discuss goals, we can always plan for that.
Do I need to undress completely?
You can undress to your own level of comfort. Some clients opt to undress completely, while others prefer to keep their undergarments on. I use draping to ensure that only the area being worked on is uncovered, and that your comfort and modesty are always respected.
Should I talk or not talk during my session?
There are advantages to both approaches, and I’ll follow your lead. Talking can often facilitate the processing of life events, which may lead to even deeper work as it often reveals the mind-body connection. At all times, I’ll be a non-judgmental, caring, and attentive listener for you. On the other hand, not talking might allow you to enter a deeper state of relaxation and tranquility.
